COMMITMENT TO COMMUNITY

At Rossmoor we are passionate not only about our in-house community but also the community around us. We enjoy being involved and donating to causes of all kinds. Over the last few years have dedicated ourselves to contributing to 4 local charities that are special to us.

Millers Children’s Hospital is a local non-profit that provides specialized pediatric care for children and young adults with an array of conditions. Only 5% of hospitals are children’s hospitals which makes Millers unique not only locally but across the region.

Rossmoor is grateful for all first responders but is especially grateful for our local heroes. We show our gratitude by donating time and resources to Long Beach Police Departments, Fire Houses and Emergency Services. We thank them for their important community service & dedication to our safety.

Ronald McDonald House has been serving the local community since 1974. They tirelessly provide vital resources and compassionate care to children and families during difficult times. Their programs ensure there is less of a burden on families and children.

Food Finders LB, is a local non-profit that seeks to eliminate hunger and food waste, while improving nutrition in food insecure communities. Rossmoor, along with other local vendors, donate unsold items on a daily basis to join in this mission to fight hunger. To date Food Finders has donated over 130 million pounds of food and has provided meals in shelters nationwide.

In addition to our four main charities, we donate to several other local non-profits:

Jewels of the Nite, CSULB
Long Beach Police Officers annual Golf Tournament
Seal Beach Animal Care Center
Long beach City College Veteran Service Office – Honoring Women Veterans
Boys & Girls Club of Long Beach
Concerts in the Park Series, Signal Hill
Urban Community Outreach, Long Brach
Signal Hill Police Foundation
Ability First, Long Beach Center
