Commitment to the Community: Holidays at Miller Children’s Hospital

One of our favorite parts about the holiday’s here at the bakery is the opportunity we get to spread cheer. We know that while this is the most wonderful time of year, the reality is… it can also be incredibly trying for those going through hardships. While we know we can not touch everyone, we try our hardest to reach out to the community around us and sprinkle a little bit of light where we can. One way we do so is heading to see our friends at Miller Children’s Hospital. Every year they do an amazing event, “Santa’s Workshop”, where they invite patients and their families to do arts and crafts, meet Mr. & Mrs. Clause, decorate cookies & most importantly show the great community of support with intentions of helping the families forget, even just for a minute, that they are in a hospital.

This year we donated gingerbread cookies for the kids & families to decorate and they seemed to be a hit! Thank you to the amazing Child life team for providing emotional and social support all year round, we were so honored to be a part of this day!
